Sleek Matte Me New Shade Swatches 2016

Today's post is a delayed and surprise post (even to me!).  I uploaded my Sleek Matte Me Swatch & Review video to my >YOU TUBE CHANNEL< a few weeks ago and had planned on writing up an accompanied post with up close images of the swatches.  That was the plan..... until my laptop decided not to read the card I had taken the pictures on..... until today! So here it is! Better late than never!

Sleek Pout Paints Review

Morning Ladies.

So I'm sure a lot of you have already heard about the Sleek Pout Paints. In case you haven't, here is a quick explanation. They basically have a similar consistency to a lip-gloss but they dry to more of a finish of a lipstick. The one major thing about these is the amazing pigmentation. The tiniest drop really will saturate your lips with colour. You can apply with your finger tip but they may slightly stain your finger so I recommend using a lip brush as more product gets to your lips and you can be more precise.
They have a fruity scent - a kind of mix between orange/pineapple? There are 11 colours available and here they are:

Top Row L-R:     Cloud 9, Minx, Milkshake, Peachy Keen, Lava, Pin Up,
Bottom Row L-R:     Peek-A-Bloo, Mauve Over, Rosette, Pinkini, Port

These 11 shades aren't just stand alone shades. They can all be mixed with which ever other colour you want, to come up with your very own unique colour.

Cloud 9 (white) can be used to lighten or make a colour less intense and "Peek-A-Bloo" (blue) can be mixed in intensify a colour.

I have 3 colours which I bought from Beauty Emporium and Cloud10Beauty and are €5.70 from each. Here are the colours I chose (btw, I'm looking a bit washed out in the photos as I have very little/no make up on! Hope it doesn't put you off, but I wanted to give an idea of what they look like including my face as well as an up close of my lips!)

The tube itself is quite small, much smaller than your average ligloss. Although don't let this put you off in case you think you are only getting a tiny amount of product (8g by the way!) As I said, the tiniest amount goes a long way. Here are some comparisons to other lipglosses and a 1c coin so you have an idea.



The tubes have a nozzle type tip so again, this is why I think it's best to use a lip brush so that product is not wasted. Also this is quite hygienic, so you can use on others if desired.


The staying power of the Pout Paints is indeed quite good. I have heard people saying that they stay on all day and even through eating and drink.......Am, no! They don't, unless you're being very wary. When I eat...... I EAT!! I don't mind re-applying to my lips afterwards so this is not an issue for me! Of course if you blot your lips on some tissue after application this, I find, does help with longevity. Even after blotting, I did not find the product to dry my lips over time which is good. 

 I don't think it particularly "stains" the lips either as I have heard others saying. When it's off, it's off. It stains your fingertips more than your lips if you ask me!! (as in it's harder to get off your skin than your lips) I would like to point out though, these are the only 3 colours I have tried out, so perhaps other colours stain a bit more.

Over all I am indeed impressed with these. I love the idea that we can all come up with our very own shades and it will bring out a bit of an artist in all of us (kinda!!)

Sleek GLO Face and Body Highlighter in Peach Shimmer

Hi Ladies.

Today's is post is going to be about Sleeks GLO Face and Body Highlighter. It contains 9g of product. It comes in 3 shades: Peach Shimmer, Bronze Baby and Gold Digga. I chose Peach shimmer as it seemed the lightest. I won this in a giveaway but it's available from the usual Sleek stockists such as Superdrug, Beauty Emporium and the Sleek Website for €10. Here is Sleeks description of the product.

"5 complimentary glowing strips of powder available in 3 shade variants which can be applied to the face and body to give the skin a shimmering, naturally glowing and sunkissed look."

It was quite hard to photograph the product on my skin so apologies for that.

I'll be honest and say I'm not overly impressed with this. I used it first as a face highlighter. No way, did not like it. I found that it looked cakey. I know it may seem strange to describe a powdered product as being cakey but it really did. It's like it just sat heavily on my cheeks. Now on the other hand as a body shimmer it is a bit better. It seems to work better spread out on a larger area such as the chest or legs. On the face I just felt it kind of clumped and was too much. For me it is a bit too glittery - although it's not exactly particles of glitter in it, perhaps sparkly is a better word to describe it.

Overall it's not my kind of product and I won't be repurchasing. I much prefer Sleeks Liquid Highlighter which I will be reviewing soon. Have any of you tried the GLO?

My Sleek Blush Collection

Happy Friday Ladies. 

Here are my SLEEK blushes. Just like the EYESHADOWS, these babies did not disappoint me. They are amazingly pigmented. The smallest touch of most of these on my blush brush will give me the colour I want. They will last for a long ole time. Here they are as described by Sleek themselves.

"A highly pigmented blusher to brighten and define cheekbones. The silky-fine formulation provides long lasting blusher which helps to create a subtle but radiant cheek area"

 Each one contains a fantastic 8g of product. (2g more than MAC, 5.5g more than Bourjois, just about the same as a Benefit Boxed Blush)  I also really do love the packaging and love that they have a mirror in the lid. Here we go!

Sleek Oh So Special Eyeshadow Palette

Hi all!

My final Sleek iDivine Eyeshadow palette that I am going to show you is the 'Oh So Special' Palette. If you'd like to see the Bad Girl, Storm or the Sunset Palettes click HERE.


This one was actually out of stock the first time I went to order it from Beauty Emporium, so I ordered the Sunset one instead. From looking at the website they do look a bit similar - some light shades, and pinkish and purple-ish colours; but when I received it, they really are quite different. The colours in this one are much more subtle and slightly more neutral. Here is the description from the Sleek Website:

"Take your look from day time chic with matte browns and creamy beiges, through to sultry evening glamour with shimmering grays and smokey plums.   A make-up bag staple and a must-have i-Divine you can rely on, so no matter where you are or what you’re doing you’ll look Oh So Special!"

Out of the four palettes I have this is probably the most varied colour wise. It has nudes, browns, purples and pinks. Again, it contains both pearl and matte finishes with both light and dark colours. Because of this, it means you can create both a subtle/soft/daytime look or a stronger/smokey/evening look.


  • This palette came with a little leaflet also, showing some other products that Sleek offer. They seem to be a bit inconsistent with what they place in with each product. This leaflet did not come with any of the rest of them and this palette and the Bad Girl Pallete both had named shadows; the others did not. In saying that, if this is the only half negative thing I have to say about all of these iDivine Palettes, that alone says something. I'm really impressed.

Sleek Sunset Eyeshadow Palette

Hi Ladies.

I'm going to continue on now with my 3rd Sleek iDivine Palette - the 'Sunset' palette. This one differs from the Bad Girl which I reviewed HERE and the Storm which I reviewed HERE. This one contains much lighter shades.


This palette is described on the Sleek Website as follows:

"The Sunset i-Divine palette contains 12 highly-pigmented complementary shades representing the sun, sea and sand. With a blend of shimmering golds, reds and blues, this palette is perfect for that sun-kissed look. "

The random blue shade kind of baffled me but the rest....HALLO!! I love using reddish bronzey tones as I said before, because they make my blue eyes so much more noticeable!

 As you can see there are plenty of reddish, rusty bronze colours in here. Some of them look a bit scary, but honestly, after a while playing around with some of these colours, you'd be amazed at how perfectly they come together. I'd just be wary not to go overboard as they are so wonderfully pigmented!
