Morning Ladies.

I've noticed recently just how "bitchy" girls can be - both in my personal and blogging life. Sometimes bitchiness can be mistaken for the plain and simple truth (that someone does not want to hear). If you think something is the truth and someone else thinks it's bitchy - this is more than likely because they simply do not agree with whatever you have just said, and turn on you. This is why it's so hard to confirm that someone is being an actual bitch!!

Source
Some people are very opinionated and others know what they think and keep it to themselves. Of course they're are those who have no mind of their own and just go along with whatever everyone else thinks. This drives me nuts. I wish all women were strong enough to have their own opinion instead of going along with the crowd. Sometimes people don't want to hear what others think - which is fair enough, but what really gets me is when all of this is displayed on social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook and indeed even Blogger sometimes.

In general people do not like being wrong, but what annoys me is when someone asks for advice or for example, says something on twitter and someone else replies disagreeing with what they have just said, then they get pissed off and suddenly that person is a BITCH! Are we not allowed to express our own opinions? Are we not allowed to disagree with each other civilly? Just because someone disagrees with you on something does not make them a bitch or does not mean that they dislike you personally, but time after time I have seen this happening. Why can't people take feedback!!!? If you're on twitter/facebook/blogger or anything else, you should be prepared for feedback on what you say. It really annoys me that people can't handle others disagreeing with them.

Like that, a lot of people think of debating as being bitchy or fighting. This does not have to be the case at all, yet a lot of the time this is how people see it. Debating is to express or argue (not physically or nastily!!) the two opposing points of a topic. This does not have to be a negative thing, but a lot of the time it seems to turn sour when someone is proven wrong or outspoken. Just because you are proven wrong does not make the other person a bitch and in my opinion should not be taken personally. Of course if the topic is sensitive or personal this is a whole other blogpost. What i'm talking about here is general opinions being disagreed with and the way people handle it.

It hasn't happened to me personally in a while, but I have been seeing it amongst others. Are you one to express your opinion and enjoy a debate? Or are you one to just keep schtum and avoid confrontation?

Hi Ladies.

Just gonna finish off my day with a little post. I love Sundays. It always seems to be the most relaxing day of the week for me. A lot of the time I have the same routine on a Sunday. Sometimes (usually) I am severly hungover on a Sunday. When I'm not I enjoy to eat well on a Sunday, spend most of the day at home with Cathal, James and Bulmer. I love to blog on Sundays also, along with catching up with other peoples bloggings and plenty of You Tube videos. I'll usually watch a film too (after Keeping Up With The Kardashians obvs)

Bulmer and his new pal Phoebe

Barely finished half of this but it was delish!
Ohhhh LORD. Delish!

I always have something burning. This is Yankee Candles Pink Sands

The view from my room this evening. How beautiful is this, seriously!

I absolutely love candle light or any sort of lamps or dimmed lighting. It's so relaxing and I feel happiest in my room like this :)

Hope you all had a nice Sunday and weekend

Hi all!

My final Sleek iDivine Eyeshadow palette that I am going to show you is the 'Oh So Special' Palette. If you'd like to see the Bad Girl, Storm or the Sunset Palettes click HERE.

This one was actually out of stock the first time I went to order it from Beauty Emporium, so I ordered the Sunset one instead. From looking at the website they do look a bit similar - some light shades, and pinkish and purple-ish colours; but when I received it, they really are quite different. The colours in this one are much more subtle and slightly more neutral. Here is the description from the Sleek Website:

"Take your look from day time chic with matte browns and creamy beiges, through to sultry evening glamour with shimmering grays and smokey plums.   A make-up bag staple and a must-have i-Divine you can rely on, so no matter where you are or what you’re doing you’ll look Oh So Special!"

This palette came with names

Daylight

Out of the four palettes I have this is probably the most varied colour wise. It has nudes, browns, purples and pinks. Again, it contains both pearl and matte finishes with both light and dark colours. Because of this, it means you can create both a subtle/soft/daytime look or a stronger/smokey/evening look.

  • This palette came with a little leaflet also, showing some other products that Sleek offer. They seem to be a bit inconsistent with what they place in with each product. This leaflet did not come with any of the rest of them and this palette and the Bad Girl Pallete both had named shadows; the others did not. In saying that, if this is the only half negative thing I have to say about all of these iDivine Palettes, that alone says something. I'm really impressed.

This Oh So Special Palette is available from the Sleek Website or if you're in Ireland from Beauty Emporium for €9.

Hi Ladies.

I'm going to continue on now with my 3rd Sleek iDivine Palette - the 'Sunset' palette. This one differs from the Bad Girl which I reviewed HERE and the Storm which I reviewed HERE. This one contains much lighter shades.

This palette is described on the Sleek Website as follows:

"The Sunset i-Divine palette contains 12 highly-pigmented complementary shades representing the sun, sea and sand. With a blend of shimmering golds, reds and blues, this palette is perfect for that sun-kissed look. "

The random blue shade kind of baffled me but the rest....HALLO!! I love using reddish bronzey tones as I said before, because they make my blue eyes so much more noticeable!

As you can see there are plenty of reddish, rusty bronze colours in here. Some of them look a bit scary, but honestly, after a while playing around with some of these colours, you'd be amazed at how perfectly they come together. I'd just be wary not to go overboard as they are so wonderfully pigmented!

If you're in Ireland you can order this online from Beauty Emporium for €8.50

Hello!

So LAST TIME I showed you all the Sleek Bad Girl Palette. This time it's the Storm Palette.

On the WEBSITE it's described as follow:

"The Storm i-Divine palette comprises of 12 strong and rich shades perfect for accentuating the eyes and creating natural looks."

This is probably one of the most popular palettes because it has lots of neutral and everyday (and night!) colours. A cheaper alternative the the Urban Decay Naked Palette perhaps?

I have to say, the lighter colours in this palette I was a bit wary about. I just thought they would not show up on my eyelids but I'm happy to say I was mistaken. It's not as apparent in the swatches but on the eyes they are nicely visible. Here are the colours up close

Again, same as the Bad Girl Palette, there is a mix of pearl (mostly) and matte colours in this, all nicely blend-able and soft. Also, a small bit of fall out with some of them - but this is expected really.

I got my palette from Beauty Emporium for €8.40

Morning all.

Today I'm going to show you my SLEEK Bad Girl Eye-Shadow Palette.

Boy am I happy with it. I am an Inglot and Urban Decay Naked Palette type of gal when it comes to eye shadows, but this seriously impressed me. The colours in this palette are right up my street. On the website it is described as follows:

"Bad girl contains strong and deep shades which allow one to uncover their hidden fantasies. This palette can be extreme, powerful, confident as well as sensual."

I typically love dark colours. I love my bronzes and purples to enhance my blue eyes. I also love dark greys, silvers - with metallics/pearls being my favourite finishes. In this palette there is a mix of pearl and matte finishes. This palette came with names for the colours. This is the only one so far that I have, that have listed names. The names however, are only on this clear little plastic protective sheet. Here are the colours:

Here are some swatches. They are in the order that they are in the palette (starting from top left - Innocence - going right and down to the second row starting with Intoxicated)

As I said I am really happy and impressed with the palette. The shadows are amazingly pigmented and easy to blend and work with. There is a small amount of fall out but nothing to put me off. They are quite well wearing too. I haven't tested or done a comparison yet to other shadows or with or without primer, but I may do this if you are interested.

I got my palette from Beauty Emporium for €8.40

Hi Ladies.

Super quick post just to let you know that I now have BlogLovin. Wasn't sure what it was at first but it's basically a way of keeping up to date with blogs you follow all in one place.

Also some blogs do not allow you to follow via the usual Blogger Google Friend Connect.

Or other blogging platforms such as WordPress or actual website blogs for example, offer different ways of following - eg. via email. So Bloglovin allows you to follow them all and have all new updates in one place. Click on the pic below to follow me :)

bloglovin

If you have Bloglovin please let me know so that I can follow you! I can't seem to find everyone!!

(Ellie has just told me that I can follow all blogs with BlogLovin. I just presumed you would have to be signed up for it!! Did ye know that!!? Let me know if you have it added to your blog anyway, instead of me going through my whole blogger list!!)

SIDENOTE! I just made a blog button!!. Please let me know if you'd like to share :) You just add a HTML 'gadget' to your blog via 'layout' and insert the code below the following FitznBitz pic.

Hi Again.

For some reason I completly forgot to take pictures of the Sleek True Colour Lipsticks that I reviewed HERE with them on my actual lips. I think this is really important and helpful when reviewing and showing swatches of a lisptick, as many colours appear differently on the lips than in the tube. Here we go.
