Vichy Idealia Christmas Giftset

Dia daoibh.
I'm gonna do it...... For the first time this year, I'm going to mention the "C" word........ Christmas!!  Yes, it's that time of year where people are given out to for mentioning the word, but now's the time to start thinking about what to get your nearest and dearest.  Today's post features one of my favourite presents from last year and that's one of Vichy's Skincare gift sets.

Vichy have kindly sent me their Vichy Idealia set to try out and share with you all.  I have been a huge fan of their Aqualia Thermal range throughout the year, so much so that their daytime moisturiser has become my holy grail.  Click >HERE< to learn more.  First thing's first; the price. Let's keep it real, it's the first thing we look at (after the prettiness of something) because we all have different budgets when it comes to gifts.  Vichy gift sets (yes, there are more available - check out my instagram post >HERE<) range from €19.95 to €40. This one that I have is priced at €35.
Now the nasties are out of the way, lets move onto the goodness; the products themselves!  The Vichy Idéalia range is specifically formulated to improve skin quality and combat the signs of behavioural ageing; pollution, stress, fatigue and UV exposure. Specifically developed for women concerned with the first signs of ageing, Idéalia re-awakens the skin’s natural radiance for a fresh and even complexion
First up is that star of the set; a full size of the the day moisturiser, namely Vichy Idealia Day Care Moisturiser.  This is aimed at people with normal to combination skin but's also available in a dry skin version.  It is enriched with Kombucha, a powerful tea extract that smoothes skin's texture and improves radiance. It claims to visibly smoothes the look of wrinkle and leaves the skin feeling softer and more supple. I was surprised at how fragranced this was but surprisingly it didn't break me out.

Next is a mini size of the Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep which is a night time gel/balm.  The advanced night treatment helps mimic skin's key repair activity during the deep sleep period. In just one week, skin is visibly smoother, more luminous, and rested-looking (I'll be the judge of that Vichy!!!) Containing Pure Caffeine, this formula improves microcirculation and counteracts signs of fatigue. Formulated with Hyaluronic Acid to hydrate and replump skin's appearance over time. Containing Micro-exfoliating LHA and Vitamin B3, Idéalia Skin Sleep helps stimulate cell renewal on skin's surface and visibly evens skin tone.
Individual price of full size = €33 >HERE<
Also included in this set is a full size the Vichy Purete Thermale 3-In-1 Calming Cleansing Micellar Solution.  I'm  big fan of micellar waters and this one is fab.  Again, I have used this before and was surprised that it was fragranced but it did not break me out.  This micellar water cleanses, removes makeup and soothes skin - no rinsing required. Micellar technology captures impurities like a magnet to perfectly clean and remove make-up from sensitive skin without rubbing or rinsing. Gently cleansed, sensitive skin is perfectly clean with no discomfort or tightness.
Individual price = €15 >HERE<
And finally, included in this set is a mini of their face mist, namely, the Vichy Eau Thermal Spa Water Spray.  To be honest, this is basically a purified water which you just spritz on the face - something that a lot of people aren't bothered with but what I do love it for is..... waking me up in the morning! I'm not a morning person and I do find this really refreshing on the face first thing in the morning.
Individual price of full size = €9 >HERE<
Random to include, but I love the silver box that the sets come in. I used mine as a try to stand up all my skincare in :)

And there you go. Personally, I think these Vichy sets are a wonderful Christmas gift idea, especially for someone who has never tried Vichy before, as they get try out a few different products and will hopeful love at least one, if not everything included!  The sets are available in various pharmacies nationwide. I found a few online from Cara Pharmacy >HERE< and I know they stock them in >Lloyds< but they do not appear to be online for now so keep an eye in store!

Slán!
