Master Series Palette One by Blank Canvas Cosmetics

Dia daoibh!
Blank Canvas Cosmetics are well known at this stage for their makeup brushes.  For the past while, they have been catching my attention with their range of eyeshadow palettes.  I'm a big fan of the Pippa Palette which I tried on on camera >HERE< so I was delighted when the Blank Canvas team sent over their newest addition; the Master Series Palette One.

Judging by the name, one can almost assume that BCC plan to add more palettes to the Master Series at some stage, but for now, Palette One is keeping me very happy!
The palette has an array of neutral brown shades, something I was delighted to see seeing as though I have blue eyes which are notoriously known to look even more emphasised against brown hues.

As you can see, included with the palette is a Double Ended Tapered Crease Blender/Smudger (worth €11.99 itself).  I own both of these brushes individually and they make a perfect dual brush.  On one side is the E40 - ideal for lid application and smudging.  On the other side is the E41, a tapered fluffy brush for blending.  Both end contain synthetic meaning that they can be use with powder or cream products so therefore are quite multipurpose.
In the palette, are 12 shades in total; 11 matte and one shimmery colour (second on the top row).  The shadows look beautiful in the palette and they performed just as well on the skin.  Below are some swatches of each colour from the palette.
L-R = Lily, Goddess (the only shimmer in the palette), Core, Hibiscus, Brazen, Carmin,
L-R = Cocoa, Downtown, Forza, Hickory, Strut, Corruption.
I dabbled with a few colours from the palette and ended up with this subtle brown smokey look.  Colours I used were:
 Lily on the brow bone,
Core to blend the brow bone to the crease,
A mix of Core and Hickory in the crease,
Strut on the outer lid blended in with Goddess through the rest of the lid
and finally Hibiscus on the lower lashline.
The shades in this palette run between warm and neutral so it's quite universal.  No matter what your eye colour, this is the type of palette you can't really go wrong with.  The shadows are well pigmented and smooth on application.  There is a slight amount of fallout with the darker shade but nothing major.  It's priced at €34.99 and available from BLANK CANVAS COSMETICS (use promo code SINEAD for 10% off! ;) ) and CLOUD 10 BEAUTY (free shipping!).

Overall I'm extremely impressed with Blank Canvas's Master Series Palette and can't wait to see what (fingers crossed!) the second palette in the series will bring!
