Dia daoibh.
So; if you’re a fan of URBAN DECAY you might have already heard the news. They have recently revamped
their eye shadow line, including reformulating them to a softer, velvety texture, more dense and decadent colour, smoother
blendability and they are now formulated to be longer lasting and to have more
crease-free wear.
They have also added some new shades to the pack making it a total of 68 shades available. These include best-sellers, new shades and fan favourites
previously only exclusive to certain palettes. Yay! These shadows come in a
variety of finishes:
The exciting bit!!!
Something also very exciting is the new
packaging. They have revamped the original design of the iconic subway
token (did you know that’s what it was!!). I personally love the look of it but
it’s not just a looker... it’s practical. Here’s the scoop.
The pans can now be popped from
the pot!! Urban Decay are now selling customisable palettes so if you buy a
single shadow all you have to do is pop it out of its pot and snap it into your
palette.
The palette can hold 6 pans and is a great idea if you ask me! The palette is priced at $18 in the US (same
price as a single shadow) which comes with a free shadow ‘Walk of Shame’, a soft pinkish-peach matte and travel sized
brush. I am yet to see a price in £s or € but hopefully it will stay
reasonable. Currently one Urban Decay shadow id €17 in Ireland so if the price does stay the same you will be getting a case, brush, shadow and mirror included for the same price as an
individual shadow
Some more exciting news!!
And finally, the vloggers, bloggers and fans and readers of each, will
be excited to know that 5 very well known bloggers were chosen to create their
very own palette shades. Here they are!

Her shades:
"My
palette is the new neutral. It’s sophisticated and chic, ladylike
and elegant. It plays with color but in a subtle way that is easy for
someone who might be intimidated by bright shades."

Her shades:
"I am a
big fan of neutrals but I like to switch it up once in a while
with a pop of bright color or by doing something smoky and edgy. I
could use these colors for three months and not want to use any
other eyeshadows."

"When we
were choosing our colors, I knew I had to have Loaded.
Readers are crazy for it. My palette was built around Loaded for
dramatic smokiness that’s not over the top."
