Dia daoibh!

Today I'm going to review Wow Brown's latest edition 'Ready to Glo' in the shade Dark. Irish ladies Frances Brennan and Donna Ledwidge developed this liquid tanning formula for those who "want the darkest shade of WOW" (light/medium & medium/dark shades also available). As I mentioned, it's a liquid; don't worry it has very handy spray nozzle so you don't have to worry about knocking the bottle over or faffing around with pouring!

The application process is a breeze. Simply spray onto a tanning mitt and apply all over your body in circular movements. What I noticed immediately about it was it's smell. Not your typical tanning smell, on first whiff it's a fresh almost sweet perfume! Great! It does however being to transform into your typical tan smell whilst developing but after showering the smell is almost undetectable!

I applied one light layer (the word "dark" scared me!) The liquid has an instant colour - so much so that you can apply it and you look golden instantly and can head straight out the door if needs be. Application is super fast, probably the fastest I've ever come across. It dries instantly and is not sticky.... at all, so I was able to go about my business straight away!

One thing I did notice however, was that it did not say on the bottle or outer packaging whether this is an instant or developing tan that you need to wash off. After contacting Wow Brown on >TWITTER< and spotting on the website, it is to be showered off after 5 hours (or 8 for a more intense tan).

I'll admit I was slightly scared when I saw how dark it was pre-shower, but once I washed off the excess in the shower it looked beautiful. I'm happy to report back that I was also streak free! Yay!

AFTER
As I mentioned, this is after just one light layer! It claims to last for between 3-10 days so I will update this post to let you all know how it goes. Wow Brown uses high quality ingredients and is 100% Paraben free.

It's priced at €21.99 direct from their website >HERE<
I've also found the Medium Dark Version priced at €18.99 >HERE<
or the Light/Medium version for €20.28 >HERE<

Today I have something quite exciting in the form of a foundation. It's Rimmel London's newest edition Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation.

A Feather-light, liquid mousse that blends flawlessly for natural-looking skin and all day shine control. Silky smooth formula for a perfectly matte, baby-soft finish Lightweight texture won’t feel heavy or greasy Minimises the appearance of pores

It comes in 6 shades:
010 Light Porcelain
100 Ivory
103 True Ivory
200 Soft Beige
201  Classic Beige
400  Natural Beige

Considering it is called  "liquid mousse" I was very surprised to see how solid and thick the foundation was when squeezed out of the tube! Nevertheless, it applied seamlessly and felt quite airy and soft on the face. It has a medium coverage which covered my slight redness around my nose and cheeks.

After 5 hours of wear I noticed some shine coming though by my nose and chin. I then decided to apply a powder on top and this made a huge difference so I would highly recommend to still use your powder to achieve maximum matte-ness!

Over all I like the foundation. It's not my favourite offering from Rimmel but if you're on the hunt for a low budget matte Foundation, this is the one for you!

It's priced at €7.95 from Boots >HERE< and £5.99 >HERE< and available in-stores now.

Pssssst!!! Current offer in Boots for Rimmel Cosmetics as of 07/0913 ➜ Buy 1 get 2nd half price on selected cosmetics ;)
