Dia daoibh!
I'm about to partake in an exciting hair journey. You might have heard me speak of Viviscal in the past. Well today I will start a solid 3 month trial of the scientifically proven hair supplement along with the specialised shampoo and conditioner. I will be tracking my progress along the way and will be keep you updated here on my blog. This May, Viviscal will be presenting the findings and conclusions from their clinical trials (ie. my results) at the 7th global world congress for hair research and on the back of that we want to make May "Viviscal's hair aware month."
MY HAIR.
To give this trial a fair run I have literally just had my hair cut and coloured today! As you can see in the picture below it is at shoulder length and I have zero roots!
I have taken Viviscal before which you can see >HERE< and as I mentioned I was not strict enough with myself to take the tablets regularly. Also at the time, the ends of my hair were in pretty bad shape as they were bleached. The tips were snapping off and therefore I believe I was not seeing true growth results, so hence the recent chop!

One problem I am having at the moment is a scary one..... hairloss. I'm not sure if it's to do with my current lifestyle/health, diet, age (most likely all 3!) but I have noticed in the past few weeks my hair is thinning slightly. This is considered normal in women from the age of 30 on so perhaps at 25 I'm early? Fingers crossed it's just my diet/stress levels and that Viviscal with counteract that.
I do dye my hair and use heat stylers. I will continue with my usual hair routine throughout the trial as I want the outcome to be as realistic as possible. I curl/straighten my hair, that's life so there's no point it denying it!

So there's the low down. This post might be a bit wordy but I wanted to brief you all of exactly what I will be doing and what products will be used. All products were sent to me as part of an official clinical trial. We all hear about these trials but rarely hear from the people who they were actually trialed on!! So here I am. Use me and hopefully learn from me!..... A bit dramatic there Laura but I genuinely hope this is interesting useful for you all. I am certainly very interested to see how I get on and look forward to my 3 month Viviscal journey! Check back in 2 weeks when I will give my first update.
Slán!
I'm proud to say that I always state if something has been given to me for free and I have never been paid to review a product. As usual everything I write is my own and I give 100% honest opinions. All products above were sent to me by Viviscal's PR Team as part of a clinical trial. This will not affect the outcome review and you will be able to see for yourself my results (which hopefully will be good anyway!!)
