So i'm literally just in the door from Centra. I had a weird craving for this........
IT Swirl Ice Cream Franchise Opportunities
Have you ever tried these!? Swirls!!  Sorry, a Swirl IT. YUM!! Just a cup of HB Ice Cream and then you chose your fruits, there's strawberries, kiwi, grapes etc and then more things like milk chocolate flakes, white chocolate flakes, nuts, wafer thingis amongst other things!!

Anyway... I went in for that and passed by the magazines.... Ya I wanted one of them too so I had a gander. I saw the word FREE....obviously had a look!! Glamour Magazine are giving away different Clinique products with this months edition, which celebrated their 10th Year. There are 10 products to chose from!!
  • Take the day off Make Up Remover for Lids Lashes and Lips
  • Superbalm Moisturising Gloss
  • High Impact Lip Colour SPF15 (red)
  • 7 Day Scrub Cream Rinse Off Formula
  • Liquid Facial Soap Mild
  • Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief
  • Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion
  • Long Last Glosswear SPF15
  • High Impact Mascara
  • All About Eyes

All 10 were not there....naturally! But there were a few. I chose the Superbalm Moisturing Gloss - ironically before I came to town to get my ice cream I had to take off my lipstick and put on veseline cause they're so dry at the moment - so I took it as I sign! I like to do that!! The products are mini sizes, but good mini sizes - more than sample sizes for instance! A brill way to try out Clinique Products without having to fork out mucho moola!! Glamour have a video on their website showing & quickly explaining the products HERE. So there ya go!! Just though you ladies might be interested!! ;)

Hello there!

So I've been going through a nail varnish phase recently. I wanted to try something  new. I'm not one to buy from one particular brand all the time - I'll try everything! Now I'm aware prices vary dramatically from lower to higher end, but to be honest I don't see why!!? Can there really be that much of a difference between one for example from Essence for €1.29 and one from Chanel for €20-€22!! They all chip or flake off in the end and to be honest by the time they start chipping I'm probably going for a shower and want to apply a new colour anyway. In saying that, I have tried OPI and application and staying power was quite good in fairness! I've noticed alot of Americanas on You Tube mentioning China Glaze. I've seen some fab shades and the bottle itself looks expensive - but aparently the price isnt as hefty? I went to investigate. I wandered onto ebay and came across quite a bunch. I compared prices and p&p prices from America to Ireland and found the best deal with THIS COMPANYI bought THIS, THIS and THIS! The order came to €14.58/$19.47 including postage and packaging!!! Make sure to check or enquire about combined packaging - usually you pay a certain amount for the first polish and cheaper for the rest) I put through the order on Wednesday the 9th and my package arrived on Monday 14th. I was expecting it to be a week or more, so I was pleasantly surprised by the fast shipping (especially considering it was over a weekend too!) It arrived in-tact and packaged well:

Ok so here are the three I got!

I was so excited to try them straight away. I applied just one coat to each nail as below:

After trying out two of the nail varnishes I have to say the staying power really is very good. Application was lovely, not goopy or anything like that, and the colour pay off is quite good, a second coat was not even fully necessarry. I'll def be buying again in some more exciting shades!
Oh and by the way if any of you have any miracle remedies or products to strengthn nails i'd love your advice. My nails grow no bother but are really weak. HELP!?

What do you lot think? Have any of you tried China Glaze?

Hallo all!

I was tagged by Sinead over at Viva Adonis to do the 4 Product Challenge. This involves whittling down (like my Take Me Out reference!!?) your make up products to just 4 to wear for the day. I didnt find this too hard. To be honest I don't have much of a problem going out with nothing on my face - That probably has something to do with me being fairly happy with my skin - I thankfully have never suffered with Acne etc. But in saying that I have included foundation in my list!! Here goes!! My first 2 would be my 2 ultimates that I would be happy to use alone!

1. Blusher

I think this would be top of my list. I love the way it can completly change the colour (obviously!) and dimensions of my face. I feel it makes me look alive. Without it I feel just...plain. It brightens up my face and adds life. I have been loving my Benefit - Coralista. Bourjois - 34 Rose d'Or and Elf - Merry Berry.

2. Lipgloss

I was trying to decide between gloss or lisptick but I went with lipgloss as it adds shine as well as colour. I feel by using these two items alone - blusher and lipgloss -  I would tie my hair back in a high twist or bun and it screams simplicity and elegance, I love the way a gloss can emphasive and enhance the size of my lips and as I said adds colour too. Some I have been using alot recently are below:
(Got this first one before it was released from one of the lovely girls in the Bourjois Office)

L-R - (New)Bourjois Effet 3D -01 Beige Elastic, Bourjois Effet - 34 Rose Mythic & 33 Brun Poetic, Sexy Mother Pucker (by Soap & Gloary - Pink Apricot, GOSH Lipgloss - 0068, Urban Decay Lip Junkie - Peroxide, Essence XXXL Nudes - 01 Pure Beauty, and Barry M - 5 Bubblegum Pink

3. Black Eyeliner

I think it's my top product for my eyes. It adds definition and even though black can sometimes "close" the size of your eyes, at the same time if i wear a black eyeliner I am immediatly drawn to look at them. Also I could smudge it out as an eyeshadow to cheat!! I've been using Barry M Intense Black Eyeliner Pen and Urban Decay 24/7 in Zero from my Naked Palette.

4. Foundation

If I had to chose a 4th I suppose it would be between mascara or foundation so I went with this. I feel that by having the black liner my eyes are emphasized enough, and foundation can make me look more polished. Even though I said I am happy with my skin I can sometime feel a bit naked without it. I use it mainly to cover freckles or little veins. And of course under my eyes. Currently I'm using Mac Studio Fix Fluid in NW20. It's grand, good coverage, ok to blend but i'm def not blown away by it. I find it to be a bit too industrial smelling and feeling!! I have tried Bourjois Healthy Mix and loved it. I'm currently eyeing Chanel Pro Lumiere after seeing Pixiwoos vid on Chanel Foundations.
